Labris - MLP Art Exchange.

Don't even get me started on this picture.

But you did, anyway XD

First off, the theme was "freedom" in homage to the 4th of July, but since Whippet's character is a gay pride character, I'm sure the hoped-for picture was for Labris to be parading the freedom of gay love/marriage/whathaveyou. Unfortunately, since I have little experience with lighting techniques, I decided to go with the challenge of fireworks instead (how original, a fireworks picture for the 4th).

Secondly, I did badly. I still suck at lighting. Someone needs to send me back to highschool for an entire class on chiaroscuro or something, come on. I SUCK. IT LOOKS HORRIBLE.

At least the fireworks came out looking okay after UNCOUNTABLE HOURS OF WORK.

I don't know how many times I redid this picture or how many hours I spent on it, so don't look for an estimate, just accept that it was a lot. And I'm glad to finally be done. I just hope I didn't mess up anywhere on Labris.
